Located in Allegheny County, Plum is a community approximately 13 miles from the City of Pittsburgh and the 2nd largest Boro in the state of PA. Founded in 1788 it’s known for coal mining, aluminum and powder manufacturing and gas and oil production.
Plum hosts a Community Festival every year that highlights businesses, entertainment, rides games and fireworks at the conclusion of the festivities. Throughout the year there are other community events that are enjoyed by all and recently Plum was ranked the 6th safest community in America.
